I wanted to let you know that Crib Notes is going paid. For the last four years, I dedicated every sliver of time between looking after my sons to planning and drafting this newsletter. I have written issues standing and swaying with a baby in a sling; I have edited issues on my phone whilst in A&E with a three-year-old. When I sent the first issue out in December 2019, I did not know how much Crib Notes would resonate with other mothers. Since then, I have been moved to hear from other women about how I have encouraged them to read through difficult pregnancies, through interminable lockdowns spent with toddlers and low moments. In these four years, I have come to see the newsletter as my ‘job’ or, perhaps, my ‘vocation’.
